L2 – Advanced Beginner

· Comfortable volleys
· Can play basic lobs
· Beginning to use the back glass
· Basic overhead
Tactical Awareness
· Understands attacking vs defending
· Starts using cross-court patterns
· Moves with partner as a team

· Rallies of 8–15 shots
· Moderate consistency
· Some forced errors under pressure
Ready for L3 when:
· Defends confidently using the glass
· Uses lobs with purpose
· Maintains consistency during longer rallies
L3 – Intermediate
Sub-levels: 3.1–3.4 Lower Intermediate ·
3.5–3.9 Intermediate

· Reliable forehand, backhand and volleys
· Good use of back and side glass
· Effective lobs
· Can execute bandeja and controlled overheads
· Consistent serve and return
Tactical Awareness
· Good court positioning
· Builds points patiently
· Understands offensive and defensive transitions
Match Characteristics
· Long rallies
· Low unforced error count
· Wins through consistency as well as power
Ready for L4 when:
· Controls points tactically
· Uses shot variation effectively
· Regularly competes well against strong club players
L4 – Upper Intermediate / Advanced Club
Sub-levels: 4.1 – 4.9

· Reliable bandeja and vibora
· Strong volley game
· Controlled, powerful smashes
· Excellent wall defence
· Finishes points when opportunities arise
Tactical Awareness
· Reads opponents well
· Creates attacking opportunities
· Excellent positioning and communication

· Very consistent under pressure
· Few unforced errors
· Performs well in competitive leagues and local tournaments
Typical Player
· One of the strongest players in a local club
· Regular league or regional tournament competitor
Ready for L5 when:
· Consistently wins Advanced-level events
· Competes successfully in major regional tournaments
· Rarely loses to L4 players
L5 – National Club / Expert

· Complete command of all standard padel shots
· Reliable vibora, bandeja, kick smash and bajada
· Excellent defence from all areas of the court
· Consistently converts attacking opportunities

· Dominates Advanced club players
· Consistently reaches the latter stages of major regional tournaments
· Competes successfully in national ranking events

· Regularly competes against the country's best players
· Achieves strong national ranking results
· Can consistently challenge professional-level players
L6 – National Elite / Professional
